Please keep in mind that electronic communication, even if it is encrypted, leaves traces. Panoptykon's communication is not subject to protection (contrary to journalists' or attorneys'). If, for example, the police request our equipment, they will gain access to our Signal. They can also demand access to an encrypted email.

If your case requires the highest degree of confidentiality, consider contacting an attorney or investigative journalist(s) whose communications are protected by defense and journalistic privilege.

We discourage you from messaging us via social media (i.a. sending a DM on X or Messenger), unless you want to wait longer (your message will be forwarded to the programme team first anyway).

Please bear in mind that we do not accept personal visits in our office.

We definitely answer e-mails better than other means of communication. However, sometimes we are unable to answer as quickly as we would like to to every e-mail we receive. We thank you for your patience.

If you would like to contact us for the first time, please e-mail fundacja@panoptykon.org rather than the individual members of our staff. The office staff will direct your query to the right person.

If you wish to receive press releases by Panoptykon Foundation and invites to our press meetings, please e-mail us at fundacja@panoptykon.org. Please bear in mind we mostly communicate in Polish language. If you wish to receive communication in Polish, please di indicate so.

We are watching the state and business.

We keep an eye on the state and tech corporations. We check how they use the information they gather; we expose the abuse of power; we fight for laws to protect freedom and privacy. We undertake activities impacting regulations, the practices of public institutions and public debate. We are a watchdog, advocacy and awareness-raising organization. More information may be found in the Our work section.

Donations from private persons allow us to remain independent and effectively fight for freedom and privacy in the digital world.
