This year we commemorate 15th anniversary of tragic attacks on the World Trade Center September 11, 2001. This date also marks the beginning of the global war on terror. What are the losses and the gains of these 15 years? What “red lines” have been crossed at the cost  of innocent people? Why, despite the extreme measures, the terrorism is a growing challenge? What strategies of fighting an invisible enemy worked and which ones failed?

Katarzyna Szymielewicz, the president of the Panoptykon Foundation and Krzysztof Liedel, the director of the Terrorism Research Centre of Collegium Civitas will attempt to answer these questions during the open meeting “Panoptykon Talks” organized under the leading motive of “15 years of the war on terror: the losses and the gains”.
