Collected data and principles of its use In Panoptykon Foundation, due to the aims laid down in the statutes and the conducted activity, we put premium on respecting the privacy of visitors of our website. All data gathered by us are collected in such a scope in which it is essential for the efficient management of our website and used only for that purpose. During a visit on our website, the following user data is collected automatically: IP address (anonymized), browser type, type of the operating system and the name of the domain from which the user has entered our website. We use it to generate website visitor statistics (using Piwik), which allows us to efficiently administer the website, ensure its high content-related quality, analyze whether or not the website structure contains errors, etc. Data from surveys placed on our website are collected and analyzed only to investigate phenomena connected with the themes of our activity and thereby – implement the goals as set forth in the Foundation statutes and take good care of the substantive contents of the website. The collected data are not associated with specified persons viewing our website. Users may visit our website anonymously, we do not strive to identify them, nor require registration. We do not provide the collected data to other entities, do not make them available to anyone, unless we are requested by authorized institutions, basing on appropriate legal provisions (e.g. in connection with a suspicion of committing a crime). PanOptyka - Newsletter Since 1 March 2013 PanOptyka newsletters are sent from CiviCRM system in which we store e-mail addresses of those who wished to receive the newsletter. The newsletter's subscribers have the right to access their data and to correct them. It is voluntary to provide one's personal data. We do not make automatic records to our mailing list. Personal data of the subscribers are not made available to any data recipients, pursuant to Art. 7 Item 6 of the Personal Data Protection Act. The Foundation offers to its subscribers the possibility to remove their data from the mailing list at any time, without giving a reason. In order to unsubscribe the newsletter, it is necessary to send an e-mail to: fundacja@panoptykon.org. There is also a possibility to resign from receiving the newsletter by clicking the resignation link to be found in the content of the newsletter. In PanOptyka newsletters we do not use the option to track openings or clicks by users. Our cookies policy Our website uses text files commonly referred to as cookies. The subscription tool for PanOptyka newsletter uses a cookie serving to record e-mail addresses in the database of newsletter addressees. It is essential for an effective subscription to the newsletter's mailing list. We do not use cookies to obtain all or any data identifying the users of our website or follow their navigation. Remember that you can block and limit the installation of cookies through the settings of your browser, or using one of many available (gratuitous) solutions (e.g. Ghosters). The scope and change of the privacy policy of our website The described principles of privacy protection concern only the website with the address panoptykon.org. We are not responsible for the privacy policy of other websites whose links can be found on our website. Moreover, we reserve the right to change the said privacy policy by publishing its new version at our website. We will inform our users on any changes in a visible manner. All or any changes made in the future will remain in line with the mission and values represented by Panoptykon Foundation.
