Recently, Twitter International (now re-branded as “X”) began unlawfully using the personal data of more than 60 million users in the EU/EEA to train its AI technologies (like “Grok”) without their consent.

Children and young people are among the most at-risk users of online services. As such, they deserve age-appropriate online environments that respect their wellbeing, and facilitate safe experiences that uphold their fundamental rights.

On 11 December 2024,  the European Commission’s consultation on its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act guidelines closed.
